Founded by two inspirational climbers based in Dahab, Egypt. Gen and Amira had been working as climbing instructors in the valleys (or Wadi) of the Sinai mountains and decided it was time to create a women’s only climbing organisation that gave space for women of all backgrounds to feel safe and empowered to challenge and express themselves.

The first of its kind in Egypt in a sport that is typically dominated by men and in a culture that is looking for more support and space for women to thrive independently.
